Agreement
By using SomoySathi on WhatsApp or visiting somoysathi.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
SomoySathi is a reminder assistant inside WhatsApp. It understands messages and voice notes in Bangla, Banglish and English and sends you reminders at the times you ask for. Features marked “coming soon” are not yet available. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Your account
You need an active WhatsApp account to use SomoySathi, and you must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for the phone and WhatsApp account you use with us.
Acceptable use
Do not use SomoySathi for anything unlawful, to harass or spam anyone, or to send reminders to people who have not agreed to receive them. Do not try to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Free launch period and payments
SomoySathi is free during the launch period. Before any paid plan starts, we will tell you on WhatsApp, including the price, and you can choose whether to continue. Paid plans will be billed through bKash or Nagad. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Not for emergencies or medical advice
SomoySathi is a helpful assistant, not a medical, legal or emergency service. Reminders depend on WhatsApp, your phone and your internet connection, so they can occasionally be delayed. Do not rely on SomoySathi alone for critical medicine schedules or legal deadlines, and always follow your doctor's advice.
Your content
You own what you send us. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide SomoySathi to you, as described in our privacy policy.
Liability
SomoySathi is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as late fees or missed appointments caused by a delayed or undelivered reminder.
Ending the service
You can stop using SomoySathi at any time. We may stop or suspend the service, or your access to it, if we need to, and we will try to give you notice where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Dhaka.
Changes and contact
